THE HOLY SPIRIT, A GUIDE DIVINE
In silence, He stirs, He softly appeals,
the Holy Spirit, fire no night conceals.
In whispers soft, within the soul's deep core,
Like morning's breath upon the shore.
When trials come, He's there to aid,
a strong right arm, a fortress made.
He guides lost steps, bids shadows cease,
and offers hearts, gold from debris.
A flame unfeigned, where truths reside,
a song more clear than skies so wide.
Through storm and doubt, He lends His aid,
in hands of ours, road seeds are laid.
Kindness He brings, He makes us pure,
transforms our lives, a lasting cure.
Against all sin, He stands so near,
His peaceful fruits our spirits cheer.
He grants His grace, in gifts diverse,
the Church to serve, He does immerse.
Prophecy, wisdom, health's sweet sign,
all given for His most loving divine.
Love, joy, peace, empathy, and grace,
the Spirit's fruits, in ample space.
Goodness, fidelity, meekness, self-control,
these divine laws now root deep in our soul.
Each fleeting breath, His presence stays,
hope, peace He brings in countless ways.
Spirit of God, in us You may dwell,
Your endless grace will never quell.
Truth's shining lamp, so pure and bright,
His witness lives within our sight.
Sanctifier kind, He cleanses best,
our beings changed, for service blessed.
The Holy Spirit, guide divine and free,
on paths of truth, we walk with Thee.
He lights our steps in darkest night,
and teaches life's own path of right.
"Walk forth,"He says", with gentle sound,
"In your own depths, let roots be found.
True good's no dream of worldly claim,
but living water, each morning's name."
His voice proclaims, in every place,
the Lord Christ Jesus, full of grace.
He seals our hearts with love's bright ray,
and shows the Father's glorious day.
In sacred words, He makes them glow,
mysteries deep, that all may know.
He opens eyes, that we may see,
God's holy will, and love's decree.
O Holy Spirit, breath of life's own fire,
in hearts united, our souls aspire.
Lead us onward, to realms above,
where endless reigns, eternal love.
