Madagascar Leaf-Nosed Snake

The Madagascar Leaf-Nosed Snake is a snake endemic to Madagascar. These snakes are medium in size and live in rainforests and dry forests. This species of snake exhibits striking sexual dimorphism, which is the difference between the sexes. Males are bright yellow on their bellies and are a light brown on their backs, they also have spear-like noses. Females are more drab in color being a light or dark grey, they have different, kind of bristly or pinecone-like noses."
